When Callum's horse is killed by the first corrupted banther, you can hear it screech in the background as it's killed. Fucked me up a bit when I first realized it's there. It's small but the fact its even there (when it honestly isn't exactly needed; its clear moments later that the horse is dead) adds to how dark the season is imo.

oh yeah i LOVE the darker vibe most of my favorite stories are great with at least a somewhat dark element to the story but yeah this season took it up a massive notch i love it but im also scared worried about the kiddos also like theres the part where amaya kills the banther by slicing it almost in half. after it falls down a fucking pool of blood starts forming under it and its not even subtle then the banther who rayla and callum worked together to kill a moment later who had bloody slashes on its body and then. ya know. left a fuckin blood splatter on the wall. the one banther who was electrocuted and saw its skeleton the one who amaya killed by stabbing it through the head with her sword. i noticed that the very first time i watched the episode and i was like 'woah SHIT thats brutal' then there are multiple shots of dead banthers that look like they may be a bit of an oof for a kid to see cuz they were very clearly dead and just. all the horses killed by banthers. the banther who was shot in the fuckin eye with an arrow and KEPT GOING. then the one who was killed by the arrow with the tracking spell on it. which shot it THRU THE EYE. and ill never get over the amount of b blood this season. including with kim'dael. like god she brutally murdered so many people and they did NOT hold back on the sounds of them all dying. then obviously episode 8 where callum is literally beat up and tortured and very obviously yells in pain. rayla being tortured then epsiode 9 where Rayla LITERALLY chops claudia's leg off. that will never not get me. and how the ink coming from her leg/tentacle as she swam back to the surface was very obviously supposed to be like blood. man if that was actually red blood that would have been even darker and more brutal looking. i know im missing some moments but those are the ones that come to my mind i REALLY love that this season is far darker but im still blown away by it like tdp is now only a 'kids' show in theory and name at this point not in actuality i REALLY love it but im also so scared for reference on how i love this kinda stuff: my absolute favorite book series is Wereworld and it is brutally dark like omg the main character literally has to chew off his own hand at one point cuz hes shackled to a wall and zombies are coming for him and literally his only choices are to either chew off his own fucking hand or be killed by zombies and i think he was only like 14 btw and thats only 1 of MANY instances of brutally dark moments. i found out after finishing the series that the book was actually written for kids. KIDS. i was like you WHAT. do you want to TRAMATIZE THE CHILDREN???? tf???? that shook me. and my fave single book is also extremely dark. like so damn fucked up and dark. even tho is about deer. its called Firebringer and it is SO GOOD

when you are done with a tab you can close it. every browser in the world has a feature that lets you open recently closed tabs. also there is browsing history. need to visit a webpage often? may i introduce you to the bookmarks feature. there’s no reason to leave your tabs open. hoarder behavior.

and i thought i was bad how has that person's phone not combusted in on itself at this point like wouldnt that MASSIVELY slow down your phone???

when you are done with a tab you can close it. every browser in the world has a feature that lets you open recently closed tabs. also there is browsing history. need to visit a webpage often? may i introduce you to the bookmarks feature. there’s no reason to leave your tabs open. hoarder behavior.
